The free demo
Every new wedding starts as a demo of the whole app. Nothing is hidden behind a lock: you can lay out the seating chart, set up the budget, write your trivia questions and see exactly how the guest side and the DJ booth will look.
Nothing you do in the demo is kept. It is there so you can decide with the real thing in your hands rather than a screenshot. When you upgrade, everything you do from then on is kept, and your wedding is open to your guests and vendors.
After the wedding
The wedding is one day, but the photos are forever. For 30 days after the wedding you can download every photo and video your guests shared, at full quality, and read every note they left you.
What you get that a photo app does not
Most of what gets called a wedding app is a QR code pointed at a photo gallery. Those are good at the one thing they do. It is a fair question why this costs more, so here is the honest answer.
A photo gallery collects pictures. It has nothing to say to the two people you are actually paying for on the day.
- Your DJ gets a booth. Requests arrive from the tables with the run of show beside them. Nobody walks up to the booth mid-song.
- Your photographer gets a shot list and a timeline. The photos you would otherwise remember at the reception, in their hands all day.
- The room gets a second screen. A live game show your guests play from their seats, and the photo slideshow running through dinner.
- The planning is in the same place. RSVPs, meals, seating and budget, months before anyone scans anything.
- Your guests find their own seats. They search their name instead of crowding a printed board.
- Nothing gets downloaded. No app store, no account, no password, for any of it.
If all you want is the photos, buy the photo app. This is priced for the wedding, not for the gallery.
What is not included
Being straight about this is more useful than a longer feature list.
- Printing. Table cards come out of the app print-ready, in your colours. Actually printing them is on you, and any home printer or print shop will do it.
- A screen at the venue. The photo slideshow and the trivia host need a TV or projector in the room. Most reception venues have one. Ask before you rent.
- A DJ. The DJ portal is a tool for the DJ you already booked, not a replacement for one.
- Your photographer. The Feed collects what your guests shot. It does not collect what a professional would have.
